Frequently Asked Questions
My FAQ page is the first place I want potential clients to visit. The answers give a general overview of what to expect when working with me.
? What do you sell
SnapShots Creative Services is hired to give businesses a distinctive, enduring visual appearance — one that differentiates from the competition and brings clients closer to their goals. I use my twenty years of experience in the design profession to help clients increase their profits through better attraction and retention of their ideal customers.
A brand’s visual identity is an investment that when combined with a great product or service will pay off year after year.
Specific items include logos (wordmarks and symbols), stationery, websites, print collateral, advertising, signage, vehicle graphics, icons, and ephemera. However there is more to a Brand than that. If
? How much do you charge
Pricing varies depending on what’s needed. I’m happy to send a quote when I know specifics of the project, and I can send you some initial questions to get things started.
? How long do projects last
Projects can last from an hour to several months depending on the scope of the project. If a timeline is required, it will be set out in writing in the contract prior to accepting funds for the job.
? What does the process involve
There are a number of steps: clarifying the design brief, research, brainstorming, sketching, rendering, presenting, refining. It’s a fairly standard format, but my approach is flexible so there’s no restriction on creativity.
? What role do clients play
Those who hire me are pivotal in deciding what direction their identities will take. I’ll come up with a variety of appropriate ideas, narrow them down to the strongest options, then ask for feedback in accordance with the design brief. This leads to the preparation of a PDF presentation showing the most distinctive design(s) in a variety of relevant contexts (on signage, screens, business cards, and so on).
All good design is created through relationships based on trust and collaboration.
? What if I don't live in the Corpus Christi area?
My clients are all over the United States, and in some countries. As much as I enjoy meeting face to face, I’ve found that talking on the phone, through video calls, and exchanging emails can save everyone a lot of time that would otherwise be spent travelling to and from meetings.
